Structural supports can be put in place to encourage the child to do the restorative tasks. Some programs institute Restorative Task time blocks. If a child has an outstanding task, he is either doing it during this time, or staying inside not doing it. If she has no outstanding tasks, she is playing or doing something fun. Also, if a child has an outstanding task, he may have to go to bed early to get more energy for the task. She cannot go on extra off-grounds trips because she has not reconnected with the community yet
