Training Description
This training will introduce clinicians to the Pathways 4th Edition workbook. The author will review what he has learned in 26 years of clinical use with Pathways, and he will provide helpful ideas and tools that will help clinicians use the workbook effectively in their programs.
Trainer Biography
Timothy Kahn, MSW is a nationally-recognized clinician and trainer in the field of sexual offender treatment.  He has been practicing in correctional, residential and outpatient programs for 40 years. His well-known books, Pathways and his newest book for parents, Healthy Families, are serving as models for the juvenile sex offender treatment process in programs across the country and in other countries such as Japan.  His guided workbook, Roadmaps, also provides a framework for the treatment of young children with sexual behavior problems.  Mr. Kahn served as a member and as the chairman of the Washington State Department of Health Sex Offender Treatment Provider Advisory Committee from 1990 to 1998, which developed evaluation and treatment standards and licensing requirements for sex offender treatment providers in Washington State.  He is an ATSA member, and he maintains a private practice in Bellevue, WA.
