When this occurs, the treatment team faces certain challenges in assessing and managing these patients in inpatient settings and in outpatient settings.
In this 1.5-hour presentation, Dr. Stanislaus will help the audience understand the challenges in diagnosing paraphilic disorders in individuals suffering from serious mental illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. There are also challenges in managing these patients in an inpatient sex offender treatment setting, which will be discussed with some possible suggestions for their management.
